About Me

My Work

I'm currently a student digital assistant for the Nevada Wolf Pack and I attend the University of Nevada, Reno pursuing a degree in photography/ videography. I also will be a summer intern for the UFC very soon! I'm a freelancer for clients such as the NHL, WNBA, STN Digital, Arizona Cardinals, Duke WBB, PHNX Sports, and FIU WBB. I've used photoshop since I was in 7th grade and have had a life long passion for sports and art. Designing is an outlet for me to express myself, my interests, and my love for creating. I am always seeking to gain knowledge and improve, my goal is to simply create art that people will enjoy.

I'm currently studying photography and videography hoping to expand my horizons and be able to express my creativity in more than just one way. Huge shoutout to the photographers I worked with at Nevada for giving life to my designs : Farrell Shine, Ryan Levy, David Calvert and many more!

<<< those 7 years of hockey are to blame for the sports design field choice.

Biography

My name is Maya and I'm currently 18 years old. I'm still in school and am on track to graduate in 2025, I'm originally from Las Vegas, Nevada and have strong ties to Buffalo, New York (GO SABRES). My goal as a designer is to go full-time freelance and travel the world, I'd like to live overseas for a few years as well. I hope to make enough money and connections through college so I can do this while I'm in my twenties.

Art wise I was always fascinated by art history, and ancient civilizations. I've always enjoyed and have been relatively good at drawing as well so it's always been an asset in my designs. I've always been into movies, writing, and games my personal favorites are Star Wars, Attack on Titan, Red Dead Redemption 2, Assassins Creed Odyssey, and League....  I have curated quite a few playlist over my time since I always listen to music as I design, my top artist would be a mix of The Neighbourhood, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, J. Cole, Playboi Carti, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
